Foundation and Success story
Established in Coimbatore in 1958 in a single shed, Pioneer Steels now is a Nation-wide trading company concentrated in ferrous (iron and steel) metal products. Late Mr. R.Balakrishnan, the Founder, had a vision on future of Iron and Steel industry and started up a small shop and developed to an Authorised Dealers of various steel manufacturers.
He was succeeded by his son, Mr. B.Venkatesan, who started his career at the age of 18, supported his father and developed as a conglomerate. He is the Backbone of Pioneer Steels. With 40 years of experience in Iron and Steel Trading, he signed MoU with VIZAG, the leading Iron and Steel manufacturer and SAIL as Authorized Dealer, which is the main success of Pioneer Steels.
He is now accompanied by, Mr. V. Namo Balaji and Mr. Ganapathy Rajan, leading the company to world-class standard.
We play a pivotal role in the Steel industry, acting as an intermediary and value-adding services provider. Our end-to-end services span every step in the steel supply chain on the strength of core competencies: Iron & Steel trading, distribution, logistics and stockholding.
With the experience of Mr. B.Venkatesan and enthusiasm of Mr. V.Namo Balaji, Pioneer Steels have diversified its wings to various sectors such as Textile mills, Agri, Windmills and Mobile Phone Distribution.
